You deal with the owner, start to finish
I'm Cooper. I started CZ Outdoor Group here in Langley and I'm on every single job we do. The guy who quotes your yard is the guy standing in it while the work happens, and the guy you text if anything needs sorting out. No sales rep, no office, no getting passed around.
We're a local company and we plan on still being the one people around here call in 20 years, just bigger. The only way that happens is if every yard we do is one we'd happily park in front of. So we compact the base properly even though nobody sees it, we finish what we start before we leave for the day, and we rake the driveway out before we pull off your street.
Our walls and pavers are laid by a crew member with a masonry background, and if your job needs a trade we don't do ourselves (plumbing, electrical, gas, concrete, asphalt, arborists) we bring them in. You still deal with one person instead of three companies.

Grading, digging, cut and fill, stripping old lawns, footing and shed pads, spoil hauled off site. Mini to full size machines, hourly or flat rate.

French drains, drain rock, downspout lines, irrigation, gas, water and electrical trenches. Getting water away from the house properly.
Drainage and trenchingDemo, clearing & junk removal
Old decks, sheds, fencing, concrete, stumps, dirt piles and yard waste. Cleared out so the real work can start.

The full scope and one total, in writing. Where there's more than one sensible way to build it, we price both. Big yard, tighter budget? We can split it into phases.
The build
We start on the date we set, work through to finished, and haul everything off site. If rain pushes a day, you hear it from us first. The yard comes back clean.
Junk removal
Before most yards can get built, something has to come out of them first.
Old decks, sheds and playsets, rotten fencing, broken concrete and slabs, dirt and gravel piles, brush and yard waste, and whatever has been sitting behind the shed for six years.
We bring the truck, trailer and machine if it needs one. Book it on its own, or we fold it into the front of a bigger job.
